Rihanna apresentou sua coleção em parceria com a marca inglesa River Island na London Fashion Week. A Diva mostrou 120 looks inspirados no seu próprio closet. Infelizmente  a coleção não agradou os fashionistas de plantão. Detalhes?!

 A marca sueca, fundada em 1996 em Estocolmo, ficou famosa pelo seus jeans despojado e designs minimalistas. A marca funciona mais como um coletivo creativo, reunindo em seu lifestyle moda, publicidade, cinema, design gráfico, negócios e muito conceito. A empresa foi uma das pioneiras em identificar espaço para criatividade na produção de jeans, acertando em cheio. Em sua coleção primavera-verão 2013, a marca trouxe muitas saias longas combinadas com t-shirts, listras, preto e branco, muito branco.

Sophie Hulme

Sophie Hulme graduated from Kingston University with Student of the Year and Best Collection awards.  After much interest in her graduate collection she set up her own label two months later.  Having grown up in North London she now works from a studio in Islington. She uses masculine influences and hard detailing to give feminine pieces a new toughness. The result is a luxury look. It is not military or utility as such, but has a hard edge.

Formada pela Kingston University na turma de 2007, Sophie Hulme nao apenas recebeu o título de melhor aluna do ano como também o premio de melhor colecao. Dois meses após o término do curso Sophie criou sua marca e hoje trabalha em seu estúdio em Islington, misturando influencias masculinas em looks femininos para dar um ar mais "duro", o resultado sao looks de luxo com praticidade e qualidade.

After shaking up London with their runway hijinks for several seasons, Edward Meadham and Benjamin Kirchhoff went for a more classic show this time — although the clothes were as quirky as ever. A real glitter fest, there were sequined pantsuits and patchwork furs, tinsel-fringed boleros, striped Lurex tights and sparkling Seventies platform shoes.

 The woods are lovely, dark and deep — and teeming with tailored clothing, tartan and party dresses. Alexander McQueen’s creative director Sarah Burton presented her McQ collection on a bed of autumnal leaves, and with a full forest set in the background. While it may not have been what the poet Robert Frost had in mind, it was beautiful — and slightly creepy.

She stuck with the form-fitting jersey dresses that have become her signature, executing them in rich paisley prints in navy, orange and green, some worn with babushka-style head scarves.

“Makeup - and Queen Elizabeth,” said Rosella Jardini, Moschino’s creative director, talking before the show about the inspirations for the collection. And there they were: Luscious lips on white blouses, dramatic eye prints winking on ruffled skirts, and multi-hued fur coats inspired by the squares in a candy-colored compact.Nods to Britain’s monarch — albeit her more youthful self - came in the form of pretty pleated skirts in bright colors, and a cropped military jacket and matching dress with oversized buttons. The Queen was in the women’s branch of the British Army during World War II, after all. An elegant, blush-colored, double-breasted coat with fur collar had particularly regal airs.
