Sophie Hulme graduated from Kingston University with Student of the Year
and Best Collection awards. After much
interest in her graduate collection she set up her own label two months later. Having grown up in North London she now works
from a studio in Islington. She uses masculine influences and hard detailing to give feminine pieces
a new toughness. The result is a luxury look. It is not military or utility as
such, but has a hard edge.
Formada pela Kingston University na turma de 2007, Sophie Hulme nao apenas recebeu o título de melhor aluna do ano como também o premio de melhor colecao. Dois meses após o término do curso Sophie criou sua marca e hoje trabalha em seu estúdio em Islington, misturando influencias masculinas em looks femininos para dar um ar mais "duro", o resultado sao looks de luxo com praticidade e qualidade.
