The mood remained ever cheerful at chez
Spade, where creative director Deborah Lloyd finished off her year of
Florence Broadhurst prints with a kaleidoscopic gem and jewel pattern on
flirty dresses and separates.
Expanding further into the lifestyle category, creative director Deborah
Lloyd showed a Kate Spade collection that featured clothes,
accessories, outdoor entertaining merch — from hammocks and pool floats
to melamine servingware — and a new swimwear collaboration with Malia
Mills. Much of it was done up in Florence Broadhurst’s bold prints,
continuing on a deal the firm struck last year with Helen and David
Lennie, who own the rights to the Australian artist’s works.
