Surge no século XIV a estampa floral, nas regiões de Gênova e Florença, onde generalizou-se e no século seguinte assumiram proporções exageradas com cardos ou romãs estampadas. Na padronagem do século XVIII surgiram desenhos da flora exótica, eram flores enormes, mas logo no final deste mesmo século, as pessoas voltaram a dar preferência por flores simples. Complicated Braids That We Couldn’t Possibly Replicate at Home: We actually love this trend a lot–it’s so gorgeous. The problem is that no one has a chance in hell of ever being able to do any of these styles on their own at home, even with a friend helping. John Barrett’s Braid Bar opened this year (for about $40 for a braided style) to fill the void, but it’s a bit of an unattainable style unless you have eyes in the back of your head, have an extra hand attached to your elbow, and are double jointed.
