Originalmente com 21 listras, uma para cada vitória do conhecido Napoleão Bonaparte, também acreditava-se que as listras ajudariam a encontrar os marinheiros em alto-mar. Vuitton’s women's creative director Julie de Libran softened the palette with lovely lilacs and purples for charming silhouettes loosely based on French colonial chic—think Catherine Deneuve maneuvring the tropical heat in “Indochine” without ever losing her soigné.
