Degen RTW Fall 2012

With her first ready-to-wear collection entitled “Ask Tell” (a celebration of the repeal of “don’t ask, don’t tell”), Lindsay Degen turned out a tight lineup of quirky knits with, said the designer, a “weird military slant.” Case in point: the colorful striped pieces that were inspired by the “dazzle ships” used in World War I to camouflage French boats against German sonars.
