"Inspired by the Amalfi Coast, the 30-piece capsule is comprised of
peasant blouses, abstract floral prints, and voile dresses, and will be
priced from $49 to $119. "The collection I created is fresh and bright,
featuring light summer clothing that evokes the spirit of my beautiful
country and is at the same time true to my style," Ferretti explained.
"She appeals to an international consumer as well as an American
consumer, and her fabrications are very soft, very feminine,
chiffon-like, drapey, comfortable, and really pretty, yet they look very
elegant," Macy’s executive vice president of marketing, Martine
Reardon, said of the retailer's choice to collaborate with Ferretti. The
collection will be available in 185 Macy's stores nationwide for 10
