The Daily Shoe by T Magazine

If you like shoes you should bookmark  "The Daily shoe" from T Magazine. To get to know their taste and their choices, we selected their choice of the last days, we hope you like it. All after the jump.

The steely patent-leather Gucci heel has two straps around the ankle and a combative, shieldlike facade. (feb 22nd)

The shoes at Mary Katrantzou had a vaguely skeletal and very ’80s lacing winding around them, from toe to top. Here, a version of the ankle boot in red looks sort of spicy with a flouncy mini and bare legs. (Feb 21.)

Peter Pilotto: Pilotto and Christopher De Vos showed these pointy pumps that Nicholas Kirkwood designed with a gem print trompe l’oeil echoing some of the collection’s dresses, and clashing beautifully with everything else. (Feb 20th)

Mulberry: The shape was a heavy wedge with a thick rubber sole, a fold-over cuff around the ankle and laces with tassels at the tips. (Feb 19th)
Calvin Klein fall collection’s austerity, severity and grace: impeccable shoe as an “onyx alligator flared heel pump.” ( Feb 17th)

Echoing the group of woven leather pieces in Proenza Schouler’s fall collection were these high-top sneaker/stomper boot hybrids with an optic weave, Velcro closure and cobalt heel. (feb 16th)

It almost doesn’t matter that we can’t see just how high this silver-gray crocodile boot from Reed Krakoff goes (to the knee, maybe)? It’s sophisticated and tough, and that’s tops. (feb 15th)

The shoe at Marc Jacobs was a Pilgrim loafer with a large crystal buckle, broad tongue and square toe. There was a heeled version and a flat one, both of which came in ostrich skin and metallic leather in multiple colors . (feb, 14th)

There were two styles at Ohne Titel — a pump and an ankle boot — both of which had contrasting “scallops” running along the side of the foot to give it greater contour and arch. (Feb, 13th)

The star of Derek Lam’s fall collection was the sweet bouquet floral seen here on a patent-toed heel. (Feb, 12th)

Alexander Wang : the shoes were all leather and rigid, like Wang’s shoes often are, included this up-to-the-knee boot that brings to mind mud flaps as much as riding chaps. (Feb 11th)

f there’s a shoe that Rag & Bone’s David Neville and Marcus Wainwright have perfected for their customers it’s an ankle boot with a sturdy heel and vaguely moto vibe. (Feb 10th)

Creatures of the Wind: A mix of four famous shoe styles — loafer, ballet slipper, gladiator and Mary Jane — the punky metallic tassel-front flat is as imaginative and otherwordly as the fairyland-inspired clothes they came with. (Feb 9th)
