The Label presented a very nice collection described as " Stevie Wonder in Iceland". Now that you know where the inspirarion came from, is easier to understand the result of Christine Pluess and
Livia Ximénez-Carillo. Gorgeous boots, coats, fabrics, the use of geometric shapes and soft volumes created were in my opinion the highlights of the show. The mix of fabrics, the wide pants and the stretch, the colors and the prints... oh dear, Mongrels in Common are so good when is about prints... this season it looks like a paint in Aquarell colors: grey, yellow and bege, all light, following the pastels we all are going to wear this Spring. The silk wide leg pants and the Aquarell silk fabric are my favorites from this gorgeous collection. Watch the video to get the real feeling.
Imaginem o Stevie Wonder na Islandia? Imaginaram? Esse foi o tema da colecao outono-inverno da marca Mongrels in Common. As estilistas Christine Pluess e Livia Ximenez-Carillo apostaram em sedas com estampas que mais pareciam quadros em aquarela, com tons suaves de cinza, amarelo e bege, deixando a estampa de meio magica. Alem dessa seda. As camisas estavam perfeitas, modernas e com um caimento perfeito, para quem gosta de uma boa peca de alfaiataria. As pantalonas pretas de seda camurcada foram uma das pecas que eu mais gostei, e adicionaram um drama extra ao desfile. Assistam ao desfile pra ter uma ideia do desfile da marca. Vale a pena.
