Jane By Design

While nothing will replace the Carrie-Bradshaw-sized hole in our hearts left by the so-real-but-total-fantasy TV world of Sex and The City, we’ve found someone who might just fill our yen for a plucky, small-screen fashion heroine. Young Jane Quimby – the “Jane” of ABC Family’s new Jane By Design – starts off as an adorably idealistic (though well-dressed) high school misfit (been there) who innocently fibs her way into a job working for a major fashion designer (wish we’d been there). Smart, funny, and just a wee bit kooky, Jane has to hide her youth from her coworkers while concealing her job from her classmates. Drah-mah! With cute boys, heaps of dresses, NYC hijinks, and some serious secret-keeping, this could be the must-watch, tasty girlshow of the season. Will Jane be our new TV BFF? We'll know if it's love at first watch when we tune into JBD (see what we did there?) Tuesday, January 3rd at 9/8c on abc family.
