The nominees and special honorees for the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards have been set. Marc Jacobs, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen for The
Row and Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, Patrik
Ervell, Billy Reid and Simon Spurr and in the accessory category, Alexander Wang, Reed Krakoff and McCollough and Hernandez

The June 4 awards gala at Lincoln Center’s

marks the CFDA’s 50th anniversary, will announce the winners of this year's CFDA Awards and will also
honor emerging talents with the Swarovski Award

presented tonight by CFDA president Diane von Furstenberg and Steven
Kolb, are below:
The Fashion Icon Award Winner will go to Johnny Depp, the first male recipient to receive the award.
The Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award will be presented to Tommy Hilfiger, a four-time CFDA Award winner.
The Media Award, given in honor of Eugenia Sheppard, will be given to Scott Schuman and Garance Doré.
The Founders Award, given in honor of CFDA founder Eleanor Lambert, will be presented to Andrew Rosen.
The International Award will go to Rei Kawakubo for Comme des Garçons.
Womenswear Designer of the Year Award Nominees: Ashley Olsen and Mary-Kate Olsen for The Row, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler, and Marc Jacobs.
Menswear Designer of the Year Nominees: Billy Reid, Patrik Ervell, and Simon Spurr.
Accessory Designer of the Year Award Nominees: Alexander Wang, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for Proenza Schouler, and Reed Krakoff.
Swarovski Award for Womenswear Nominees: Chris Peters & Shane Gabier for Creatures of the Wind, Joseph Altuzarra, and Max Osterweis and Erin Beatty for Suno.
Swarovski Award for Menswear Nominees: Antonio Azzuolo, Phillip Lim, and Todd Snyder.
Swarovski Award for Accessory Design Nominees: Irene Neuwirth, Pamela Love, and Tabitha Simmons.
