Fall Trend Report - Black and White

Now that most of the Fashion Weeks have past, we can finally take a look at the looks and trends from the Season. We´ve seen so many girls dressed in black that somehow the classical B&W found itself hidden by the new trends. The perfection and cleaness of this look from A. F. Vandevorst RTW Fall 2012 show was brilliant. We we´re not sure if we could include Balmain in our selection because of its embroidered pieces, in the end we open with 2  extremely simple and classical looks of the Brand. More after the jump.

Our picks are all very simple and practical. Celine´s look is absolutely gorgeous! Love the leather vest-tshirt in leather contrasting to to an all white outfit. All very simle and perfectly tailored. Carven showed a fresher and younger version of the trend: the red shoes gave the final touch taking us all to Oz... And Cedrix Charlier got my heart in this cocktail outfit: so clean and minimal, a little bit Mara o Palthrow.

Chris Benz brought the classic rock and roll meets Wednesday Adams dress we all love, while Chado Ralph Rucci presented a nice option for the old gown, a beautiful long leather skirt combined with a perfect-fit blouse and classical bicolor shoes. Clements Ribeiro mixed textures and proportions is this modern version of the classic retro B&W look - just get rid of the leggings!-

Derek Lam showing why we are going to keep watching Kate Borsworth and other stars wearing his designs this year. The whole collection looked gorgeous. And this season I lost my mind with the perfect Fall Collection presented by D&G: lots os laces, lots of B&W, all with a perfect styling and the perfect touch of the brand. Elizabeth & James kept simple and clean: well done!

The LWD from Erin Fetherston had to be here! Isabel Marant´s creations were full of B&W because she knows how good it is to keep it simple, and Moschino, with another super fun and pretty sweet collection! You should take a look if you haven´t seen the Fall shows, soooo many interesting looks. It is impossible to digest it instantaneously, you need loads of coffee and hours in front of the computer. Hope you like it!
